The city of Valletta, the setting of ´The Wives’ artfully directed by Claire Tailyour, (and beautifully lit by Sara Deane Frank Madone.
The warmth and richness of Malta really drove the direction of the grade, blue skies, and vacation vibes was the aim. Sara and Frank shot on the Alexa 35 to ensure we had the most dynamic range to ensure we were covered for both day and night scenes. The end result is a lovely rich cinematic look.
