BAD TIDINGS

This exciting collaboration with Sky Studios on their holiday film, Bad Tidings, bought an early Christmas to Residence Pictures. Colourist Paul Harrison teamed up with director Tim Kirkby to craft a cinematic aesthetic, featuring frosty tones and numerous sky replacements to evoke a chilly, wintry atmosphere — despite the production being shot in the spring. Meanwhile, Finishing Artist Owen Hulme tackled over 200 VFX shots during post-production, ranging from clean-up work and phone and screen compositions to intricate multi-layer split screens.
